Elias: modifications to the cart page are the current workaround for capturing EU business customer’s VAT-id. It work okay’ish… The proper place to collect this information for EU based web stores is in the checkout-section. Accounting regulations then require the seller to actually verify the given VAT-Id before capturing the payment. It should be a small feat for Shopify’s developers to implement this properly. Please prioritise this feature.
