How can I access the rich text editor when editing a page?

I am trying to edit the content of a page. I can only view it in HTML and cannot access the rich text editor (area above text is greyed out), please help!

I will need a bit more context to be able to assist. Where specifically are you trying to edit? Are you in ‘Pages’ or perhaps you are in your theme editor? If you can provide a screenshot of exactly what you see, being sure to block out any sensitive information, that will help tremendously.
