How can I activate or cancel my inactive account?

so i have an inactive account unsure why . but it doesnt even allow me to go to my settings to cancel the store. ive emailed for assistance 3 days in a row , can anyone tell me how to get it out of an inactive state or just how to cancel it ?

Thank you for posting your question. While I’m not able to look into your account over the Community, I’d still be happy to troubleshoot this with you.

When you say that your account is inactive do you mean that you are unable to log in? Or are you seeing an error message saying “inactive”? Is your storefront currently active or is that inactive as well?

In order to close your store you would need to access your Shopify Admin and follow the steps in this guide here. If you’re unable to access your store, our support team would be able to help further. I know you’ve mentioned that you have emailed in. If you are hoping for faster support I would recommend trying the live chat option. You can reach them over live chat by going to this page here and following the steps below.

Steps to contact a Support Advisor:

  1. Log in to your account if possible. If you can’t log in you can still continue to email or live chat by clicking the Continue without logging in option.
  2. Type in keywords for your issue in the Search field and click Search.
  3. You will then notice common questions and help guides related to your issue and under that you will see the option to Get support. Click Continue.
  4. Then you will see the available support options.
