I am moving from woocommerce to shopify.
I really need postcode zone solution.
I want to install and use the “Shipping & Delivery - ShipZip”
It says “CCS (Carrier Calculated Shipping) API Service is not Active.”
I do not need any carrier integration. I just need it activated. I see no reson the pay for intergration if It will never be used.
How do I get in touch to ask them to activate it?

CCS is a feature which is provided by Shopify. CCS is not available on the Basic plan. In order to enable CCS, you need to upgrade to Shopify’s Advanced or Plus plan.
Alternatively, you can explore using ShipMagic app, we do have the capability to customize rates based on zipcode without the need of CCS. You can install the app and reach out to the live chat support, in case you need any help in setting up the app.

Actually it is Shopify’s requirements that if you want customise shipping from any third party app, it is required to store have enabled CCS.
So it is not kind of UPS or FedEx carrier service, but your rates fetch from third party app, so Shopify need to have CCS on store.
If you have Shopify(middle) plan then you have 2 options:
additional $20/month
yearly billing and get free CCS.
in both above case you need to ask Shopify support team: https://help.shopify.com and they will enable it for you.

You will need to have CCS activated on your store if you want to display an app calculated shipping rates on the checkout page (even if you don’t use a carrier service). As @siddhu_kevadiya mentioned, contact the Shopify support team requesting to activate it.
