How can I add a '24 hours Express Production' option at checkout?

Hello everyone,

I’m in need of an extra option at checkout.

Basically, as a clothing brand that produces on demand I offer a ‘24hours Express Production’.

This option is all-or-nothing, so it has to be applied on the entire order and every item would be +3$. Possibly with a tick box and the sum added to the total.

How do I do that? Can I set it in checkout.liquid or shall I use an app?

Also, is there any good app to personalize checkouts, like adding an extra step or some text here and there?

I would think this does work on the /cart level as well. Does not need to be on the checkoout. I just developed something very similar.

Are you on the Shopify Plus plan?

I just started so I’m on Shopify Basic, unfortunately.

Considering I’d make an extra 5% on that, I’m under the impression there would be more conversion as an endcap, but the idea of /cart is not a bad one at all.
