Simply put, I want to add a collection into a collection just like a product would be added to a collection. I do not want to create a menu and drop downs to do this. The collection needs to show with other products on the specific collection page.

Great question. It sounds as though you would like to display certain collections, within a collection - is that correct? If so, there are two options to consider depending on which theme you are using. If you’re unsure whether you are using a Vintage theme or an Online Store 2.0 theme, you can determine your theme’s architecture version here.
With that said, if you are using a Vintage theme from Shopify, you can create a subset collection on a page by editing your theme’s code. We have a tutorial you can follow here that will achieve this look:
If you are using an Online Store 2.0 theme at the moment, you can customize sections on any given page to feature additional collections.
For instance, if you head to Online Store > Themes > Customize, you can select Collections > Default Collection from the drop down menu at the top middle of the screen.
From there, you will notice the sections and blocks to the left hand side where you can select " + Add Section". Then you can add a “Collection List” and feature the collections as you wish.
For any section you want to remove, you simply need to click on the section and scroll to the bottom to delete it.
