How can I add a confirmation message before adding a product to the cart?

Hello,

I am looking to make some kind of double confirmation gate for people wanting to add a specific product to their cart. A little back story…We sell drawer boxes and sleeping platform solutions for SUVs. We’ve gotten a few sales for just the sleeping platforms, which is great, except the sleeping platform is an add-on for the drawers, and will not work without purchasing the drawers. Even though this is in the description of the product (the sleeping platform) we still get people purchasing it without purchasing the boxes, rendering it rather useless. Is there a way to add a message, or pop-up asking the customer if they are sure they want to check out with just the sleeping platform and remind them again that it will not work without the other box products to support it? Perhaps a long shot, but worth asking.

Me too, Does anyone have any suggestions on how this can be done? Exactly the same issue, we have some items that are useless unless you already have another item and despite clearly explaining this in the text, people are still ordering it. We need an extra step for some products to ensure customers are aware of their usage before adding it to their cart.
