Is there a way to add a credit card fee on the POS system? I don’t want it on every sale, just on the credit card sales and I can’t seem to find a way to do it.

Currently, there isn’t a way to charge your customers a specific credit card fee on the point of sale system. Shopify charges the merchant a small fee to allow you to accept major credit cards online and through your POS system. However, there are a few ways around this! You could create a “credit fee” product and only have it available to your POS system; then, you can add this product to the order whenever you want to charge that fee. Another option could be to add custom sales under cart modifiers; this allows you to enter in a custom amount to charge your customers. This is a good option if you want to charge different percentages of the total sale as a fee and not a fixed amount.
I will happily pass along your feature request to our developers as I know this would be a helpful feature to add to our POS system.

All third-party apps add time to the checkout and don’t work consistently.
Every other POS system I use/consult on can easily add a % upcharge to the shopping cart.
PLEASE IMPLEMENT THIS!!!

Don’t want a third party app that relies on a web connection and slows down transactions. This needs to be a core functionality!
