Hi all, I was able to set up a custom surcharge fee for a client that needed it for POS only, with a Shopify app called “feesly”. Downsides to it are: Doesn’t include tax You have to manually tap a tile each time to add it I believe it’s for POS only No way to lower the fee for split transactions…

BNPL are actual thieves, taking 6% + a fixed amount from the total sale. shopify then takes 2% from the total sale, this includes shipping. So any BNPL sales are around 10-12% of the sale margin. They are disgusting thieves and they do not make customers aware how much they rip off small businesses. …

All third-party apps, including those suggested here, add time to the checkout, don’t work consistently, and are difficult to track. MANY replies since this was posted in 2021 with no answers. Shopify don’t care about it’s customers. They just ignore them. Find another service.
