How can I add a custom text input for my bookend product?

Hello,

Not sure if this was already asked, I tried scrolling through various discussions, but some contained code blocks and I’m no programmer.

The product is a 2-piece bookend, there’s the actual bookend and it has some canals where you can insert a part that says “good books”, “must read” etc.

I am looking to have one product template that gives the customer to input text, so they can add their own text of what they want displayed next to the bookend on the 2nd part.
