I wondered if there was an app or coding to apply to my store/theme where I can add a upload file button to the checkout page.
This is so our customers can upload a PO number document for invoicing purposes.
The feature cannot be on collection pages only at checkout. If so, where would the files uploaded be stored.
Really appreciate anyones help on this in advance.

Editing the checkout process isn’t something that is allowed for security reasons. With that, I’ve not seen an app that would allow for a document upload within the checkout. Your best workaround here would be to have the customer forward the document via email if they have a PO box. You’d be able to include this messaging in your order confirmation email, on your cart pages and on your shipping policy pages.
