Hey guys,
I wanted to add a pop up onto my store the instant the client enters. Obviouslys an cancel button must be present, but essentially the pop up would be used so that the client can enter their email and thus see if they win a free product. I would rather no pay any money for the pop up, so if anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

About your question, you can try a third-party app to make this. There are a lot of Email Marketing apps that have a free plan.
I suggest the Mailchimp app or Flowio app. It is very easy to use and has a lot of marketing functions. Here is the sample pop-up that I created on my test site.

Here is one more solution to build a popup to collect emails. However, you will need to do something more advanced to connect that ‘lottery’ of winning for the customers. Just like the other ideas from the thread, our Popup app for Shopify is just a nice popup with additional useful fields like an embedded form for data collection.
To hand out prizes, you will probably need to collect the emails, and then automate processes with Zapier to choose winners and notify them about their victory.
