How can I add a hero slider to the Studio theme?

Hi all,

I’m working on the Studio theme, and I would like to change the image banner. It is currently a scroll-snap image banner, with images that slide across when changing. However, I prefer the Hero Banner that I had used previously on the boundless theme- the images fade in/out when cycling through.

I tried adding the slick slider code from the slick-slider site (I think the hero slider uses the same code?) But the Image slider in the studio theme is obviously still taking preference.

Iv dabbled a bit with coding, self-taught, so not sure how hard this will be. any help is appreciated.

Hi! thanks for reaching out, is it possible to help without giving you access to the store? It is not my store- I am building a new website for someone else, and it is not yet published (once it is ready we will switch to the new theme)
