Hi I would like to add a notes section to either check out or when the customer is selecting a personalised item. I need them to be able to communicate to me ‘their personalisation details’ for their products. And I also need them to upload an image for the custom photo product.

If you’re not well versed in code so the usage of third-party apps seems to be the best solution for you. After doing some searching I found some apps that fit what you’re after:
- G‑Variants: Product Options
- Teeinblue Product Personalizer
- Product Customizer
- Variant Option Product Options
These apps will provide you the ability to add more product options to your products pages such as text input or file upload. They also offer you a free trial or free plans so make sure you’ll check them out.
