How can I add a personalization box to my online store?

I have a listing that needs a personalization box but my problem is when I go to my shop coding for the Dawn theme, there is no product.liquid as shown in every tutorial I can find! Its only product.json. What do i do?

Yeah I have tried this and it doesn’t work, per my post you are replying to. I do not have product.liquid. You just linked to this thread, I’m not sure how this is helpful.
