How can I add a phone number and text box to my Dawn theme header and footer?

Hey,

How can I add a phone number to the header & Footer?

Also - can I add a text box? Even like a one line text box.

I’m using the Dawn theme.

I appreciate that you have let us know which theme you are using as that is very helpful! I think that is a great idea that will help provide your customers with security about their purchase.

Looking into the Dawn theme, you can add text to the footer section of the online store by navigating to the Theme Editor. Once you have loaded into the Theme Editor, select on the footer section to see the option to add block to the footer. This will allow you to add text directly to the footer of the online store. I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:

With that being said, in order to add text to the header of the online store, this change is not available using the Theme Editor. However, you can make a change in the coding of the theme to have the phone number displayed within the header. Since the Dawn theme is designed and supported by Shopify, we can use free design time for Shopify themes to have our internal team make the changes on your behalf.

If you are interested in using the design time, you will need to login to your store using the Contact Us page. This will allow us to securely verify you as the store owner before speaking directly with a Support Advisor about the changes you would like to see.
