I have added a metafield on my product page which has an ‘introductory description’ to my full tabbed description below. I would like to add a read more link to the intro text to be redirected to the full text description.

You can go to the Theme customizer, add a Text block for the read more text, and set link for it to
#shopify-section-template--21879285907777__sub
Upon clicking, it should scroll to the description.
I cannot set a link to a text box — only on a rich text one 
any help please?
Do you see the option to add link in the rich text?
If not, then we can only use an alternative, for example a button to set the link.
