Hi
I can schedule a collection in shopify admin. However once I have done this I cannot add it to my navigation.
it would be handy to be able to add a navigation link to a schedulled collection that does not show in the navigation until the collection is switched on.
is there anyway do do this?

Currently, there is no way to schedule changes in your navigation. I definitely agree and think this would be a very useful and important feature for our platform to have. I am happy to provide this feature request to our team.

Thanks for your reply. It would be great if you could. It would be great in general if there was the ability to link other things to the scheduling such as showing the category in the navigation or even switching on banners etc.
At the moment I have scheduled a category to go live along with a discount that goes live at the same time. However I have had to schedule it at a time when I am in so I could add it to the navigation and post a banner. Otherwise I could have scheduled it earlier.
Is it possible to access scheduling information with liquid?

Do you currently use an app for your banner, or do you use the banner built into the platform? If you use an app, there may be a way to schedule it. Let me know if you would like me to look into that further for you and recommend a few.
As for accessing schedule information with liquid, you would need to talk with a developer as that is outside of our support. I would recommend consulting with a Shopify Expert. Experts are trusted third-party developers that can help with any complex business needs.
