The above didn’t work for me, and I did see some comments from others unable to make it work, so I am not sure if there is a conflict in some themes. We are using Debut, and need a simple popup. We want a link like, “Do you need it?” that pops up a small box with an image and text. It would be nice if it also had the screen overlay like most of them do, but that’s not a necessity. It does need an easy close option.
I have set these up several times in Wordpress, but I am not as familiar with Shopify. I have tried several different methods I’ve found on Codepen. When I click the link, the page scrolls up a bit but there is no popup. I am fairly certain it’s the Javascript not working. I have tried adding the Javascript to the theme.liquid above the closing head tag and have also tried adding it before the closing body tag. This popup will be on specific product pages, so I have also tried including it in a products page template with no success. Any ideas?
