on a tutorial i’m watching they have the slideshow feature underneath the header section. However, when i click on header i only have the add block icon. how can I also have the slideshow option?

Because you want a slideshow underneath the header. I guess that you might need to Add section instead of adding a block:
Also please check if your theme does have Slideshow to add it.

Thank you so much for your help! a little more in detail about my issue because I’m still having it. I am using deputify to create my website which should include the slideshow option. However, it doesn’t give me the option to select a section in order to select slideshow. i only have add block as an option.

I don’t know how we can add slideshow on home page but for other page types, you can try creating a template like in this :
Also you can contact Debutify support for the best answer for this case. Unfortunately, I am not so fluent in using, just try it to find the answer for you.
