I want to have a sticky add to cart button on my website. Please let me know the code and where to insert it.
Topic summary
Merchant seeks to implement a sticky Add to Cart button and asks for code and where to place it.
- A theme developer offers help and requests the store URL, page URL, and password (if applicable) for tailored guidance.
- Another contributor recommends a free “sticky cart” app (theme extension) claiming no speed impact, and provides the app link.
Key concern: Whether Meta (Facebook) Pixel will still track Add to Cart events when using the app.
- Response: Meta Pixel will continue to track all Add to Cart actions, including those triggered by the sticky button. There’s also an option to track sticky-specific Add to Cart events separately.
Outcome: The merchant acknowledges the clarification and expresses thanks. No custom code was shared in-thread; the suggested solution is using the app. The discussion appears resolved with tracking compatibility confirmed.
Hi @Janhavi
This is David at SalesHunterThemes.
Please share your store URL, page URL and also password (if your store has one) so we can help you.
We made a free app for this, which has no impact of the speed of your store, you can check it out here. It is created as a theme extension.
My current meta pixel tracks add to cart. Will it be disabled if i use this app??
@Janhavi meta pixel will track all add-to-carts even coming from the sticky cart. However there is also an additional option for you to track specifically sticky add to cart events.
Thanks,
Oh understood, that’s great then, thanks.
