How can I add a text box to a contact form in Dawn theme?

I figured out how to add the checkbox/dropdown menus/radio buttons, but I can’t find anything for how to add a text box. I could copy and paste the name or message code, but it won’t let me change the label for it. I’ve been working on this for weeks! please help!

I understand you want to change the text box from Comment to something else. This can be done by editing your theme language. Here’s the steps to do that:

  1. Go to Online Store> Themes
  2. Click Actions > Edit languages on the right hand side above your current theme.
  3. Search for Comment.
  4. Scroll down, and you will find the one you want to edit under Page Template > Contact Form.
  5. Change it to whatever you want then hit Save.

This will change any page where you use the Contact Form page template to say what you have selected instead of Comment.

It looks like you are using your contact form for something a bit more complex. You could also consider using an app instead. We have a ton of contact form apps in the app store, just search contact form.
