Hi there

How to add a waitlist to a product / live learning worskshop page?

Would it need an integration to a 3rd party email provider or form provider?

It depends on how your waitlist number will change. From where it will fetch data. I think this can be done without a third party app but i need more information in order to give you a perfect solution.
