Hello, I want to add an HTML file to my footer (some simple contact info). I can add and save that HTML page, but I can’t see any changes after.

Need to check the theme code to perform such functionality. because all themes have the different way to call the content at footer section.
@a-pebble We can’t check the issue from the front end as there is no visible HTML file at the place you indicate in the screenshot. We will need access to the backend to debug the issue. You can DM me here if you want us to look into the issue. Thanks
