How can I add borders to product thumbnails on my homepage?

Hi, can anyone help me with adding borders to the products thumbnails in my homepage in the Simple theme? Currently they all run together with the only borders being a slight break in bewteen them. I’d like to add black borders to all of them instead. Thanks
