I would like to allow my products that are out of stock to still be purchased. When these products are selected and added to cart - I would like a pop up to come up saying you understand these products are on backorder and will be a longer lead time. Or instead of a pop up even if the add to cart button changed to say add backordered item to cart or something like that.
Is there a way to do this? I want to ensure customers know when a variant they select will be on backorder.
