I know how to setup different delivery zones based off how far a customers location is, with using local delivery. But is there a way to have this distance (example, 7.34 miles) added a o the order notes or some other field that’s viewable within orders?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I’m happy to provide some assistance with setting up Local Delivery, to get this resolved. To provide some context, delivery zones are available and can be customized to fit your shops needs. I recommend checking out our Setting Up Local Delivery Documentation for more information on how to set a delivery radius.
It outlines however, you can successfully add a delivery radius of 7.34 miles by:
Heading to Settings > Shipping & Delivery, within the Shopify admin.
In the Local delivery section, click Manage next to the location where you want to add conditional delivery rates. If you have several locations, then click Show more to display all of your locations.
In the Delivery area section, click Create delivery zone.
Enter a Zone name.
Enter a Delivery radius of 7.34 miles.
Optional: If you want to offer delivery only on orders over a certain price, then enter the amount in the Minimum order price section.
Enter a delivery price. If you want to offer free delivery, then enter 0.
Optional: In the Delivery information section, enter a message to customers with details of your local delivery services.
Click Save.
To add make order notes available, you can refer to our Enabling Order Notes Documentation as it touches on the steps to successfully complete this. Where you enable this feature can differ depending on your theme, but will ensure customers can leave a specialized note on the order at the checkout stage.
