How Can I Add Hover Effects to Shopify Dawn Theme Buttons?

Hey Shopify Community!

I hope you’re all having a fantastic day. I’ve been on a bit of a mission for the past 3 hours, diving deep into the realms of the internet to jazz up my Shopify store with some cool hover effects. Specifically, I’ve been trying to add these hover effects to all of my buttons (I use Shopify Dawn theme).

After some serious searching, I stumbled upon a super helpful YouTube video showcasing exactly the kind of hover effect I’m after. However, when I tried implementing the code from the video into my Shopify store, it didn’t work.

So, here’s where I’m at: I’m reaching out to this awesome community for a bit of guidance. If any of you lovely folks have experience with adding hover effects to buttons in the Shopify Dawn theme, I would be forever grateful for your expertise.
