How can I add more details to an invoice?

I’m trying to figure out how a customer can add products to an invoice they were sent? I see the link in the invoice that sent via Shopify that says visit store, but when a customer clicks that to continue shopping, there doesn’t seem to be any way for them to incorporate the items on the invoice they were sent.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community! I’d be happy to provide some assistance with this request. To confirm I’m fully understanding, are you referring to the packing slips?

If so, this document will include a list of items your customers purchased. The slip also includes other important details such as shipping and billing addresses, product information, SKU’s, etc. While these slips can be edited, customers wouldn’t be able to make changes to the slip. To learn more, you can check out our Packing and Editing Printing Slips document.

I didn’t do a very good job explaining, nothing about packing slips. For example If I send an invoice to a customer for 3 blue gizmos and they receive the invoice. Then let’s say they click the continue to store link in the invoice they were sent, they arrive at your store and see something else they also want to purchase. How do they include that new item/items when they checkout along with the items already on the invoice?

This feature however, is not currently available. Customers would have to create a new order for items they’d like to purchase. As I can completely understand the impact, I will be sure to pass this feedback along to our Developers. We’re always looking for way to improve the platform and appreciate this suggestion!
