I have a produst available which has 7 different colours available, as well as the colours being different, their is also different options to add to the product that i would like the customer to chose from. On etsy it is 2 variations but on shopify it doesnt appear to be the same as it wants inventory for the second option but this is not required, just on the colour of the product. hopefully makes sense

Currently, there is no option through the native Shopify admin that provides what you are after without implementing custom HTML. Apps are generally the go-to solution for a feature like this and would be more cost-effective rather than hiring a coding expert. I suggest trying out an app first, seeing how it works then re-evaluating implementing a custom solution down the road.

All of these apps have at minimum a 14 day trial, which can give you time to try them out and see which one is the best fit for your business. Hi, I am using Bold options at present. My problem, (Bold says that shopify has to fix on their end)
If I add a product option such as : name on back of shirt (add $5) and also for size option 2xl (add$2) these are hidden variants in shopify, that work corectly in that they show up in my order as expected. but… lets say
I want to do a special free shipping profile for a team, and I have 5 clothing items. And one person orders a name on her shirt, and another orders a 3xl size… Shopify does not consider those hidden variants part of the item in the shipping profile! So, shipping is charged. How do I fix something like this… I think that it might be something shopify has to do…Any suggestions?
Maybe a better question: is there an option app that would sync better to shipping profiles so that the items recognize that the hidden variants “belong” to that item…
