How can I add multiple weight options to a single product listing?

Hi there

Is there a way I can add more than one weight to my products so people can select a dropdown box in the product listing to choose their weight?

I don’t really want to have multiple, individual product listings of the same product just because each one is a different weight. The only variants I can add are size, material, colour and style.

Thanks for reaching out. While creating a product you can add Option names under Variants section. While Size, Material, Color and Style are suggested options you can select any of them and rename them to Weight. Then add option values, in your case weight values for the given product.

If you need to rename options for existing products, you could choose to import your products via CSV which would be a more efficient method of creating your variants and/or products if you have several products to create. You can learn more about using products CSV’s through our help centre here.

Thanks for reaching out here! You can certainly add price to each variant. You will have input the price for each variant in the admin, but that will show up automatically on the product page when customers are browsing. So it would look like this:

But i think, i was not clear enough with my question. I would be interested to know, if it is possible that prices are automatically calculated, when i create the product in the backend. So lets say, i start with a piece of meat, which costs 100 euro per kg. I know create variants of 200 and 500 gram. Do i need to manually calculate the price (thats what i am doing right now), or is there a way that proces of these variants are filled in automatically (when i create the product).
