How can I add social media icons to my theme's footer?

Hi,

I am trying to add the social media in the footer from my theme. I have copied my instagram, twitter and Facebook link but the social media icon option is not appearing in my them setting. I have tried saving it, logging out and in. But no success so far.

If your theme does not have an option in Customize → Settings. Then we need to code & add the functionality to your theme.
