I’m using the Kingdom theme and I want to add custom text to each page but the text will sync to all of my other pages with the same template. I try to create a new template but it only gives me the option for default, faq, and contact but if I choose one of those it will change all of the pages using the template. Is there a code I can add so I can have custom text on my default pages or am I screwed? I’m sorry if this makes no sense…
Sorry you are facing this issue, it would be my pleasure to help you.

Hi, thank you for reaching out. My website is lolaslens.com
thansk do you have latest Shopify Store 2.0 right? if yes so you have easy to add section each page just make sure each page template are different
Yes it’s 2.0. And I know that but the issue I’m having is when I create a new page template, under the “based on” drop down, the only options I have are default page, faq, and contact. For example, if I base the template on default page, then that template automatically syncs with all the other pages that have templates based on default page. That is what I’m trying to avoid but I only have 3 options to base it on and those 3 are all being used.
can you please create first template on live theme after you have create working then show
How do I create a template in dawn theme?
In the Dawn theme, you will see the “create template" option in the page selection bar on the top. Basically, you can create a template for a page (product or collection page, for example) in the theme you’ve selected, and then assign it to specific products or collections
