Im looking for the same thing. Almost all software sends a serial number to the customer. The closest thing is SendOwl.

No. The solution is to not use Shopify POS. Use another POS system and have it integrate with your Shopify site. We use Lightspeed with Accumula as the the go-between. So far it’s working beautifully. Shopify POS is really not deigned to handle advanced inventory management.

Can you be more specific. Light speed seems to be more of anPOS system and not something to handle serials and digital downloads

Definitely…it would be nice to add the serial to the tracking number or having a user area to reference the serial. this is the biggest flaw in Shopify.

This is great to see! We are looking to adopt an inventory management system right now, and we badly need integration with serial number tracking for the same reasons stated at the start of the thread, but of course right now our integration with Shopify will not let us track serial numbers.

Absolutely! We need inventory management where we can scan in and out and track warranties etc!
