How can I adjust my shipping rates for accurate customer charges?

Yes I am having problems getting my shipping rates , I have not set them up myself I am assuming Shopify did that and they are not calculating enough shipping on the products I am shipping out . Can someone share where I can go in and change the shipping rates so when my customers are getting a accurate mount .

Shopify typically doesn’t set up default shipping rates since every store is different. Is it possible someone else with admin access set this up without your knowledge, or do you have a third-party rate calculator app installed?

To change you shipping rates within Shopify:

  1. Go to your Shopify admin screen, then click ‘Settings’ at the bottom of the admin sidebar menu (left side of the screen). This will bring up a large popup screen that includes another sidebar menu below your Shop name.
  2. Find 'Shipping and delivery on that menu list, then click on it.
  3. In the ‘Shipping’ section, you should see ‘General Rates’ in a box. To the right of that, click on ‘Manage’.
  4. Scroll down to the ‘Shipping to’ section. Here you will find shipping rates assigned to your various shipping zones.
  5. Click on the 3 dots beside any of the listed rates, then click either ‘Edit rate’ or ‘Delete’, depending on if you want to change or remove the rates.

If you have any rate calculator apps installed, it will say ‘rates calculated by app’ beside the app name. In that case, you will need to go into the app directly to change the rate calculation.
