I sell a product which as 30 or other amounts in one box. Price listed on my website is for one piece. When my stockists make an order, I need the quantity to increase with 30 or 15 etc based on the number in one box. Is this possible? How do I get this?
Hi @kinmar
You can use the variant option in Shopify.
Thanks you your reply. Not sure I made myself clear. I sell my products by a set quantaties in each box, by for excample 30, but I want the price displayed to be for only one. I have set up all the different variants but I can’t set a certain number of products in each box so the price is multiplied with the number of products in it. Does that make sense?
I already use that option but still doesn’t cover my need
Hi @kinmar
It sounds like your situation is that your product is sold in boxes of 15, and you want to display the price per 1 item. One thing you could do is use my app, UnitWise, which would allow you to configure a variant called “Box” and set up the metadata of “Quantity: 30” and “Unit: item”.
In this setup, your customers would always be purchasing your saleable units (e.g., boxes, cases, bottles, etc), but you can still display the unit price alongside the variant. For example, maybe your pallet is cheaper than your box? UnitWise will also render price savings to encourage larger purchases
The app has a free trial, so please feel free to take a look, and maybe it will solve your usecase! If you have any further questions, you can always reach out to me and I’d be happy to help!
