How can I adjust shipping costs per item on Shopify?

Hello,

My store is selling my art on print-to-order items, so they are shipped by the printer.

the printers increase shipping cost by the item- so it might be 3.99 for the first item and an additional 1.29 for every item of that type after that.

Shopify is only letting me increase shipping costs via per $ mount or weight, which currently has me needing to make a separate shipping profile for every single item, selling internationally and adding all the shipping zones this is taking forever- it also means I can’t just add $X to everything and say “free shipping”

does Shopify plan to add a per item to shipping?

if I know someone who can code is there a way to add it myself?

does anyone have other options/ ideas?

Hello, Thank you. This would be the perfect option, however, apparently- Shopify will now only turn on CCS for a monthly fee A currently can’t afford. however, for anyone else with this issue I’m sure it would be perfect!

That’s true. CCS is free for Advanced and Plus plans. Also, if you are on Shopify plan and decide to pay annually you get CCS free.

In all other cases, it costs you $20 per month to get CCS.
