How can I adjust Shop Pay to include shipping rate selection?

Hi everyone

We have recently enabled Shop Pay as a payment option on our website, however we have an issue as when customers select Shop Pay it by-passes the shipping options/rates selection.

How can we adjust so that Shop Pay customers can select correct shipping option (and pay correct shipping rate).

I have read a similar post re this issue recommending not requiring a phone number with the order - however we don’t require a phone number already and still have problem. We only require an email with each order.

Solutions greatly appreciated.

Hi Mark, Shop Pay automatically selects the cheapest shipping option available for the buyer. I see that on your store, you added a free shipping option for a certain region, so that might be incorrectly selected when the buyer is using Shop Pay as it will show up for anyone in the country. I’d recommend you use “Local Delivery” option instead as that would allow you to specify eligible postcodes or delivery distance.
