How can I adjust the inside padding of a custom scrolling announcement bar?

Hi, i have a custom scrolling announcement bar from the section store app. it lets me change padding but it’s only from the outside so the inside padding cuts off letters like G and Y. Any way to fix this? Thanks

go to your store > theme > customize > homepage > announcement bar > custom css or theme base.css
