I am using the theme “Prestige” and would like to make my footer smaller.
Also I want to center the copyright label.
How can I do that?

Step 1. Go to Online Store → Theme → Edit code
Step 2. Open your theme.liquid theme file
Step 3. Paste below code before :

How can I make the height of the footer smaller?
The distance between the copyright and the last menu should be the same as the distance between the title and the top.

Can you make a small space under the copyright? 
Yes, you can go to Asset/theme.css and add this code below to bottom:
html{
padding-bottom: unset !important;
}
You can change value from unset to … px if you want a space under the copyright
