How can I align my webpage text to the left in a custom HTML block?

Hi,

Hope someone can help me out. On my about page I would like the text in the middle of the page aligned to the left. It is probably with percentages but I am hurting my brain :slightly_smiling_face:

  1. In your Shopify Admin go to online store > themes > actions > edit code
  2. Find Asset > theme**.scss** and paste this at the bottom of the file:

    padding: 70px 250px 70px 295px !important;
}

Thank you. I was using the padding already. But I am not getting it aligned with for example the carousel.

The code for the carousel is
