How can I align text to the left with a margin on my homepage?

Hi all,

I want this text to align left, but then it sticks to the side of my screen. How can I add a left margin for this section so that text remains within the container box?

Or should I use container box format, but then how do I get that background colour to flow until both ends of screen?

Please replace the class ‘container-fluid’ with ‘container’ in banner section.
