Hey everyone! I’m super new and trying to add products into my store. However, I am having the hardest time finding how to put it as an option for customers to add personalization request. Lots of my items will consist of being able to add names and numbers onto certain items. Please help!
Thank you greatly!
Hi @TaressaCasey , Welcome to Shopify community!
Using a third-party app is a popular and efficient way to add personalization options to your Shopify store. There are some app like page builder apps which help you archive to add data field for your customers personalization request, it even allows you to create, customize web pages without technical expertise. Or using such app like Product Customizer Shopify, Product Options by Bold,…
Hope it helps!

Hi @TaressaCasey ,
For page builder app you can try PageFly, Gempages, EComposer… or 3rd party app such as Product Customizer Shopify, Product Options by Bold,…

Hello @TaressaCasey
Minimog theme can help you do this in 2 ways:
- Create a custom field for the product - allowing shoppers to leave their notes or personalized requirement
For example: View this demo - https://next.minimog.co/products/calendar-postcard
- Minimog also has a feature called “order note” - which shoppers can leave a note on their order.
You can consider checking Minimog theme here. I hope you’ll like It ![]()

Hello @TaressaCasey
To offer personalization I would like to recommend you try Inkybay - Product Personalizer app. Through this app, you can offer lots of customizations to your customers including the names and numbers. It has a dedicated design lab where your customers can also live preview their designs. Click here
Additionally, I can give you a demo product so that you can check.

Hey @TaressaCasey , at Seal we just launched an app that let customers preview personalized texts on products before buying.
You can also use custom fonts and charge additional price.
You can try it free and please let me know any questions:)
I’ve tried Customall Product Personalizer on Shopify and found it to be straightforward and effective. It has enough features without being too complicated, and the price is reasonable.
It doesn’t look like it work on the srtarter plan theme that shopify has. Is that correct?
