We are just setting up our store and have a few products in place for testing. What I am trying to do is give our customer the ability to choose 3 different options on a package lets say colors for example. I enter 9 colors and when I preview the page I can choose one of the 9 options. However I want them to be able to select up to 3. So I tried creating another Options list with the same choices for a total of 3 options list. This made sense until the Variant selection went to 691 variants and broke everything lol. We are using the Dawn 2.0 theme. Hopefully what I’m trying to do makes sense and is just something simple I am missing. Thanks for the help!
Hi @KetanKumar thank you very much for your reply. I was able to reconfigure the page to show how it sort of works lol. I have also attached a couple of screen shots when I try to add a 3rd option to the selection. I haven’t added the options etc to the other products yet as I want to figure this out first. I understand the limitation on Variants. That isn’t the issue though. I don’t want it to create 700 variants. I just want the customer to be able to select more than 1 option. The options all repeat them selves I just had to do it 3 x because that was the only way I could figure out to do it.
Your concerns can be effectively addressed with the Easify Product Options app. With the app, you can effortlessly combine various products into a single package, allowing your customers to select up to X products of their choice. For instance, you set ‘Whipped Wax Melt’ as the main product and create options directly linked to the 9 different existing wax melt scents and set the maximum selection limit to 3.
