I can’t even find the app you are describing, maybe you should link to the app instead of your video explanation.

Is this something that Shopify truly has the intention of adding? I’ve been searching for resolve and apparently this problem is something you can trackback 4 years. I’m really frustrated that I can’t set up what I want to offer customers and it doesn’t seem that any workaround is what I need.
I simply need to add more than one code at check out and have an automatic discount applied - is this really coming or is this ‘voting’ list some way to shut people up … can we get a real answer?

No, it’s (sadly) not coming. These are your options:
- Change your strategy - do you really (really?) need this? (I chose this option)
- Get yet another app to hack the functionality for you
- Tell Shopify customer support every single time you are in conversation with them that you really need this
- Change the platform and say goodbye to Shopify

Yes, this function would be great! My Etsy site allows for multiple automatic discounts and it comes in handy as I offer different bulk discounts for an assortment of products. To have work arounds for such a simple concept is tedious and cumbersome for the me and the consumer. I am surprised that for such a large platform like Shopify that this is not a functionality and a 3rd party app is required…

I think Shopify should just close this thread completely, been going on forever.
It is very clear from this thread that Shopify has no interest in adding this very basic feature to their platform.
So why keep it open and allow all the shop owners to state that they need this feature, pathetic actually that Shopify does not even bother to reply to this thread stating the plans going forward.
That way we as shop owners would know exactly where we stand, it is a pity though, as Shopify is such a nice respected platform.
Urgent needed for this feature.

Just wanted to add my vote for this feature, over the past months that I’ve been using Shopify I’ve been consistently surprised by the basic features that are lacking, making it in some ways worse than free alternatives, but this feature must be the most egregious example because it’s clear the logic is basically implemented, just artificially limited.
C’mon Shopify, we really need this.
