Are there any updates? I would really like multiple discounts codes to be allowed to apply at checkouts.. or a able to offer a discount or a free shipping at the same time to customers… Please send us some feedback on this please.
Please add mine to the list too. They enrol to the subscribe list and they can’t add a double discount … not fair
I know that this is marked as solved, but it really isn’t. When will this be available on Shopify? Even if we could do a discount & free shipping, it would make a lot of users happy.
Hi, this feature need to be on Shopify. We sell an automated three pack, end then to some customers we want to use an extra discount code. Its really bad tha you guys dont have doscount stacking. If i really looked into it before i wound not gone to Shopify, sry. But this is not good and really uncheck this thread to not solved!
Looks like there is plenty of interest in this option and has been known for at least 2 years. Is this on the development roadmap or is it still being explored as something Shopify has not decided needs to be done?

I know this was a long time ago, but I’m still unable to use this feature and it would be super beneficial to both of my shopify stores that I run. We love to offer free shipping over a certain amount and also certain products with a percentage off at times.
Free shipping over a certain amount can be implemented without a discount code though the shipping and delivery sertings.

The major problem I am encountering by not being able to use multiple coupons is this. I run a consignment business and need to keep track of customers credit as well as use it towards purchases. I use Rewardify and this app is great in every way except that it creates discount codes to apply their credit towards a purchase. With the 1 discount per purchase, I am unable to process a customers credit AND a discount.
For example I have a 2 for 1 offer which I am unable to process if a customer wants to pay using their store credit.
I understand that this is a very niche example but, at the same time, I can see this being a restrictive issue with other applications.
@MichelleM1 are you not able to use draft orders for this where you can set a custom price for a line item to the desired discount amount?
Just had a very limited product drop on my site. I used a 50% off code to all of my subscribers and charged double my actual asking price in order to limit access to just my email subscribers (something we cannot do natively). I also sent a 5% off code to my most valued customers as a thank you! Instead, when they went to go check out, they got a error that they could not use both codes and then missed their chance to buy the product because it was already sold out. A massive inconvenience but it also led to them being legitimately upset at my business, for good reason, and was their first terrible experience associated with my brand!
This almost cost me my most valued customers, but to make it right I offered to buy the product from other people at a rate 20% more expensive than I was charging to get it to them. This is a basic feature that should have been included with the platform from the beginning and Shopify is a multi-billion dollar company now. What I have expressed above is a very viable reason to make this happen or at least warn Shopify users on the discount page that you cannot apply multiple discount codes (it says you cannot apply automatic discounts, but nothing about codes). Now that I see customers have been asking for it for 9 years and that this thread is 50 pages now, I am very disappointed.
I agree. We’ve gone from Wix to Wordpress and now to Shopify. I love the ease of use, but now we want to track our sales - and can’t. I believe Wordpress would at least give the option to combine with other offers or not.
We’re thinking of different codes and offers for event/ads and social media to see what works best. Is anyone else doing this effectively? Or using apps to solve this since Shopify doesn’t seem to want to solve it? And is there one you would recommend? I looked at Discount Ninja and our theme (Woodmart) doesn’t support it. So, we need a programmer to go in and add code… and hopefully not break anything.

$14.95/month is a lot for a feature that should be part of the shopify plan that already charges $300/mo. I think that is the point that is really frustrating.
You’re right. It’s marked as solved I think because several shop owners have come up with work-arounds that work for them.
If you are up to looking through 50 pages, you may find something you can use with your shop.
Obviously, they will NOT address this. So, it would be nice if they would put a disclaimer or something at the top of this request
to save people the effort of asking. So frustrating to see continuous requests asking for a solution, when it won’t happen.
