How can I alter the checkout symbol from E£ to EGP?

Hello,
I need to change the checkout symbol from E£ to EGP

Can you help me with this?

hello there

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin panel and go to the “Settings” section.

  2. Click on the “General” tab.

  3. Scroll down to the “Standards and formats” section and find the “Currency” field.

  4. Click on the “Change formatting” link next to the “Currency” field.

  5. In the “Currency formatting” popup, you can change the currency format for the EGP currency.

  6. Find the “Currency symbol” field and replace “E£” with “EGP”.

  7. Save the changes and preview your store to ensure that the checkout symbol has been updated to “EGP”.

Note that changing the currency symbol will affect all instances where the EGP currency is displayed in your store.

but I already change it but it doesn’t work on the checkout as you show in the previous screen

I am facing the same issue, did you manage to remove that E£ or change it to EGP ?

I have the same problem and it still exists, did anyone managed to solve that issue?!
