How can I alter the collection block size on my homepage?

Hi everyone,

I’m attempting to change the block size on my home page for collections. I’m using the collections section as categories. At the moment the blocks are huge and you can only see 2 of them without scrolling down. I’m trying to achieve 4-5 boxes per line over 2-3 lines to cater for all the categories.

I read that the code needs editing and I’ve not a clue on what I need to change…help!!!

I’m using Dawn theme.
