How can I alter the layout of my header submenu?

Hi guys, on the image attached there’s my actual header menu situation.

Now there’s a few things that i would like to change

As u can see i’ve added a tree navigation menu with code

here the things i would like to change

• arrow on the main sub menu with right direction and left when the submenu is out instead of up and down

• the orange sub menu doesn’t have the same corner, shadow etc of the main

• i would like to add a space beetween main and tree (orange)menu, like 1 or 2 pixel
