How can I alter the main menu font color to black on all pages?

hi how can i change the font of my main menu items including the drop down items to black? and I want to keep it black for all pages, not just home page. theme dawn 6.0.2

}

    color: #000;
}

Add this css at the bottom of Online Store->Theme->Edit code->Assets->base.scss.liquid
